Saturday is John Lennon's birthday for 70 years old, if he still alive. This year, which is also the 40th anniversary of John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band (his first official solo record) and the 30th anniversary of Lennon's murder, it's John's turn.
The Cleveland party Friday, part of an all-Lennon weekend, also included a time capsule, to be opened in 30 years, containing a video by fans, a DVD about his life, books and his music, according to the Cleveland Leader. The capsule will be opened on his 100th birthday, 30 years from now.

According to the Leader, other time capsules will be dedicated in Liverpool and in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik, site of the Imagine Peace Tower, a tribute to Lennon from his widow, Yoko Ono.
