Gary Ross, a film director was fascinated with Lenny Kravitz’s acting in 'Precious'. He said that the rock singer was really talented to be a film star. Therefore, Gary also invited Lenny in his movie project, 'The Hunger Games'.
"When I saw Lenny’s acting in 'Precious' I was immediately impressed, I immediately hunted," said the director of 'Seabiscuit' reported by Aceshowbiz on Tuesday (24/05/2011).
'The Hunger Games' is an adaptation of the novel trilogy by Suzanne Collins. The novel displays Everdeen Katniss story, a 16 year old girl who must take the fight to the death.
Movie star 'Winter's Bone' Jennifer Lawrence will portray the character Katniss Everdeen. Meanwhile, Lenny served as Cinna, one friend of Katniss.
Lionsgate Films scheduled to release the movie in March 2012. 'The Hunger Games' will also be supported by Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Stanley Tucci.
