Film Composer "Bond" Dies

Oscar-winning film composer John Barry who worked on the music of renowned film of all time, died at age 77 after suffering a heart at his residence in New York on Sunday (01/31/2011). 

News of Barry's death was first delivered the latest Bond film composer, David Arnold, via his Twitter account. 


"With a very heavy heart I say to you that John Barry had passed away the morning (Sunday) this," wrote Arnold. 


In the eyes of Arnold, Barry is the figure of a qualified teacher. "I'm sorry the news of his departure, thank you for all that has been devoted to music and to me personally." 


Composer who was born in York, England, was first won an Oscar in 1967 for Best Original Song and Best Score for the film Born Free's work. During his career, he has five times won an Oscar. 


Stars film Born Free, Virginia McKenna told BBC admitted Barry reliability in creating the music score. "He's a musician and composer of extraordinary charming," he said. 


Other Oscar Awards, which received Barry recorded through the film Out of Africa, Dances With Wolves and The Lion in Winter. He was also nominated by 'Mary, Queen of Scots and Chaplin. He also won a Grammy award for Dances With Wolves and Golden Globe for Out of Africa. 


Barry is a phenomenal work when he was working on the music score for the film James Bond, who then introduced the next generation by singer Robbie Williams.
